some of you arrived when this place was thriving with posts of popularity and cat fights
some of you have been around a few weeks, and some of you reading this have been around forever :-)
- If you got here at the catfight era....please dont be misguided...this
place is the nicest place you will ever come across on the web!! every
few months we get attacked by the not sooo pleasant blogger! but they
do disapear after a few days of stirring up trouble, dont let them
chase you away!
- you may hit jackpot and your first post will hit the featured page...you can guarantee you will get loads of welcome greetings!! if your not so lucky, dont be disheartened.... no one knows your here unless they see you! so comment around, introduce yourself, make your presence known!!!!
- first week you'll be finding your feet, making your way around
soulcast, now this took me forever!!! about 3 months in... silverwhisper
and polarheart informed me of the my user and my conversations tabs!!
life here is sooo much easier once you discover those!!! so make the most of them (I have no idea how I missed them for soo long) :-) they help you keep up to date with posts you have commented on and when you get comments on your post. checkout silverwhispers tips post for more info on these
- after a couple of weeks the addiction will kick in and you will wake up and the first thing you will do is check in on soulcast :-) dont be alarmed!!! this is perfectly normal once the addiction grips you :-)...(its a healthy addiction) :-)
- should you decide your gonna leave after this addiction kicks in.....forget it!!! its impossible!!!! :-)
- if your here thinking your gonna make loads of money.... your not!!! the adsense thing is a waste of time!! nobody clicks on the ads, and if I remember rightly from a post ages ago.....no one ever gets paid anyway!!
- to get the most out of being here, join in!! there are some members that have been around awhile and know each other quite well...there are some in jokes, and lots of banter.... dont be afraid to get involved, everyone is welcomed here, were like one big family and we all get excited when a new family member arrives :-)

silverwhisper~ home of the famous {trout smack} do not fear, this is a strangley enjoyable and painless experience :-)
gingersoul~ possibly the most beautifullest writer here at soulcast :-) you get lost in her words.
evil twin is a funny guy! almost married to nursecutie you will fall in love with this couple instantly!
If you like a mystery...then moonriver is the man for you, his posts are fascinating :-)
wakingharmony's post is a great place, you will be welcomed warmly, and if your on a self reflecting journey now there are always quizzes to learn more about yourself. and lots of fun ones too :-)
you may get a comment from lbfn07 (mr7 ) which is shocking!! but dont be alarmed...mr7 is the most nicest sweetest guy you will ever come across :-) he has a cheeky humour and at first your not sure whether to slap him or kiss him!! lol but his humour is always wrote with a good heart :-) xx
you have to subscribe to fearing not only does she have a great sense of humour but she paid me to advertise her blog here :-) lol I'm kidding... fearing goes out of her way to greet newcomers, and lets lots of other people know that your here too, so if she hasnt come across your blog yet, subscribe to her and let her know your here!! :-)
Polarheart posted some helpful tips for newcomers here , here and here they are well worth checking out, it shows you how to post youtube clips and make links :-) and especially this one with lots of helpful tips including how to use flicker and pictures to your posts (thanks polar) :-)
The helpful tips post by silverwhisper also gives you info on flagging comments, where to go for help, allsorts!! so its worth checking out

There have been many helpful posts at soulcast, if you want to look for more, then at the top of the page (next to sign out..about...help.. ) there is a search box, type 4newcomers in there hit enter and they should all come up for you to view (thanks silver for that tip ) :-)
There are tons and tons more people I could recomend you read and I will list more in the comments, and feel free anybody to list your own favourites.
there are so many people here I have grown to love, and I know you will love them all to, so if your new, come on....dive right in!! let us know your here, and lets get to know each other..
