  I totally agree about scents - I love this tropical passionfruit stuff that barely has any scent an hour later, but when someone gives me a random scented lotion or spray for Christmas, and I try to wear it to be nice, it always reeks - and reeks all darned day! I got a tangerine something gift basket, and it all smells about like you said. :-D

  I keep trying to find a diferent perfume that 'suits me' I love the one I wear already but I fancy a change, so I have been coming back from shopping stinking for weeks!!  and its sooo true...the yukky ones linger !! :-)
  I did buy kylie minogues one.have you tried that??  its nice  but it smelt much nicer in the shop than it does when I wore it!! xx

  Harper got this cherry blossom scented body spray for Christmas from someone. Not us.

  But she sprayed it on herself and our entire house smelled like a bunch of old ladies playing canasta.

  Everywhere I went the smell was threatening to kill me. So I sprayed a very nice air freshener and made her take a shower.

  The air freshener lasted about 30 seconds and the cherry blossom was back.

  It really isn't fair is it?

  I threw the cherry blossom in the trash when Harper wasn't looking. It's evil.

  polar, I don't really know what it smells like either, but this smell was really pungent and musky with a hint of fruity-ness. Blech!

  destiny, I tried on a perfume once that smelled really good in the bottle.....but on me it turned into something really horrible and it gave me a migraine! I couldn't wash it off! I hate that. I have not smelled the perfume you mentioned.....I might need to check it out!

  traveler, I don't think you would have liked this tangerine trash smell very much.......LOL If I was wearing the Oscar jacket you would just think I stepped out my trashcan with a rotten piece of fruit stuck to my green fur.......LOL!

  Jack, cherry blossom! Blech! I know exactly which one you are talking about. Whoever gave that to Harper must hate you guys......LOL! It's very strong. Buy her something like vanilla or cherry with NO blossom!

  I remember that once I sprayed some designer perfume on my wrist and hated it.  My sister and I went out to eat and I could barely get anything down because the smell kept wafting.

  Does anyone remember back when you walked into a store and an army of spritzers attacked you with spray bottles of perfume?  I think it took an act of Congress to get them to stop.  Or at least a lawsuit by the family of some poor person who went into analphylactic shock (can't spell that) from the odor.  Yuck pew!

  twyla, they still sometimes have those people offering to spritz you.....but I never take them up on it. Even if it smells ok in the bottle sometimes it's horrible on my skin!

  that some corporate purchaser thought the green coat was a good idea in the first place is what always amazes me.  Then I think of what a tragic waste my life has been since I obviously would have been a rock star caliber corporate purchaser.  No bright green coats would have been bought under MY watch!
