my 3 kids are driving me crazy. the ten year old talks non stop about how much she dislikes her 3 yr old sister and 2 yr. old brother. the 3yr old wants nothing more than to mock her older sisters every move... her hero.. our 2 yr old ,,,,,he is just wild that is all there is to it....we love our kids to death but is it wrong to dump them at grandmas a couple times a month for a mama and daddy break?

I see nothing wrong with that auction. I do not have any kids myself but my two older sisters have 5 between them and the one that lives in the same town does it all the time! The one in GA with three kids wishes she could but she is WAY too far!! My mother absolutely loves it and it is also good for mom and dad to get a break! You are perfectly normal in my opinion. -

No, I don't think it is wrong to escape for a little while. I haven't been out alone with my husband since my first wedding anniversary. We will have been married eight years this August. Sometimes, I wonder if I'll know how to act when that day comes. :) -

Jade, how do you do it my wife is home with the kids all day and all night. I try to get her parents to watch the kids a couple times a month, my side of the family is no help at all. my dad went through his mid life crisis and never stopped (his current flame of the week might be 20 yrs old) . Eight years though and my wife would be in a padded room..

Auction: I do it because I must, and I am not always as good as I would like to be. Lately, I have been trying to devote at least a few hours away from the house a week. Sometimes, it is yoga or maybe just hanging out for a bit after work with the co-worker. I find that it has helped some.My husband is rather anti-social, so I haven't been able to convince him to do the same. Go out by himself, that is. I seem to have found some middle ground, but I fear he hasn't.
Anyway, excuse the ramble--but then again, you asked--but I am not very good at putting things in a nutshell.
