How come Socialism and Capitalism disagree so much? Socialists tend to think capitalists are selfish. Capitalists tends to think "shut up commies, you haven't got the first clue about economics". And it's kinda true really. Both I mean. Capitalists are more of a free economy type of people, who wants to earn earn earn. But is it for themselves? REALLY? Socialism want to take what we have, and share equally amongst us humans. But what defines a good person, the one who gives until he has nothing left himself, or he ho gives nothing, earns alot, and gives 5% of what he has, yet alot more than he would have given if he gave it all to start with? Cheepishly explained, I know, but you get the point, right? I mean, if everybody get filthy rich, the poorest people will get richer too. Or will they? How much resources does the earth have left? Is there enough for everybody to be rich by western standards? Do we really need half of the world to be rather poor, for us to be rich? I know, for a fact, that building value, DOES help the poor. But not enough. Some people say that Bill Gates, and people like him, should be giving alot more than they do. But I say that they're giving alot more than you and me put together... times ten thousand. Or more. If they gave all they had for 40 years ago, I think there would be alot less giving to the third world. We wouldn't have had microsoft. And let's face it, microsoft has by software and more, helped companies earn more money. Thereby creating more jobs, and along with that more value and wealth. What do you think?
