Woo hoooo! I just made cherry pie filling, and this is big news! It was the last freaking bag of cherries in the whole freezer!
I have a somewhat checkered past when it comes to the cherries from the tree in my front yard. My husband cherishes each and every godforsaken one of them, and I think they should be left for the birds. They fill my freezer each late spring and torment me all year long.
But the last bag has been used! It's a day of great joy and merriment in Mimiland.
At least until June.
