Wow. No posts in awhile. How low have I sunk?

(Don’t answer that.)

I could blame my lack of posts on the fact that I’m stressed out because school starts and it’s thrown off my whole internal clock. Or I could blame it on the fact that I was busy over the holidays. Or I could just say I was distracted by something shiny.

There’s probably an element of truth to all of it, along with an absolute lack of anything to say.

I’ve had a lot on my mind this past week, most of which I don’t want to get into here right now. I am, however, significantly more relaxed today. I needed a boost, and a boost I received.

I've been looking at this idea for a little while now, and I am very intrigued by it. It's called "101 Things to do in 1001 Days". Seems like a lot, but when you break it down...it's possible. I have yet to decide if I am going to attempt this, I am still debating. But if I do, I will definitely keep you all posted on my journey.

I think the hardest part will be coming up with a list. I've had a few ideas, but I think I need to sit down and really try and come up with things. Maybe this is all a complete waste of time!

So, who’s with me? Anyone else want to try this out?

Alright then, that’s all I have to say for now. I attached the link below if anyone is interested in checking it out. Let me know what you all think! :-)

I love the idea.  I'm strongly considering doing it right now.  Maybe my first goal of the 101 is to do 101 things in 1001 days.

Yay! Good luck! :-) And let me know how it goes... it would be neat to discuss our progress.

I think I'm going to post mine here. Haven't really even started it yet...but once I do I'll share some ideas. I think we should all share; it might spark other ideas too. Not sure when I plan to start yet, definitely after I finish my list! :-)
  • Sunshine_Mariah said on Jan 06, 2008....

  • Sunshine_Mariah said on Jan 07, 2008....

Ok, my list is officially complete! I think...haha. I even made it into a
chart on Microsoft Excel so it will be easier for me to keep track of my
completed tasks. I have yet to decide on a date when I am going to
start...still contemplating various ideas. I'll post my list below this
    comment. :-)

silver - I didn't realize I was famous around here and being talked about! ;-) 101 things does seem like a lot, but when you think about it... 1001 days is quite a long period of time... so if you put your mind to it; I think it can be done! I'm certainly going to give it a try! :-) Nice seeing you stop by for a comment... thank you!
  • silverwhisper said on Jan 16, 2008....
hey, it's soulcast--as long as one person knows about you, that's all that's necessary for others to find you, you know? :>

i'll give it some more thought when i get a few minutes to think about it. :>

    Hello Sunshine_Mariah,

I´m PBW, please call me paper. = )

I too have read about this particular blog of yours from tbs in ed´s blog  . . . bucketlist? ( I subscribed to you eons ago, but cannot recall at the top of my head which blog of yours made an impression, sorry = ( . . .this is the reason I subscribe to be able to go back!).  And, I in turn have shared the link you provided to friends.

This is what I love about SC, meaningful connections !

Good luck with your list (and the biopsy!)!

    Keep on blogging.

    Warmest regards,

    paper ~

Yes Sunshine you are indeed being talked about. I just love the concept and I'm so grateful you posted on here! Writing the list itself has being incredible. It's amazing what you can discover about yourself (the things you will or won't ever do, to the things people think you can't or shouldn't, to just how damn strong a person can be).

You helped me do that my dear! Thank you very much for sharing this opportunity with me.
  • Zayda said on Jan 19, 2008....
Well, Sunshine, here is my list.
