Many poker players first starting out in the world of poker dont really know how to control there bankroll in online poker ring games.

Most people starting out on the low end of a starting bankroll ($50-$200) usually head straight for the .05 - .10 table online. They feel this is a good place to start out and not lose much money. Its good if your just starting out learning the game but if you know the rules the only true way to be a winning poker player is to step out of your comfort zone a few times and go to higher stake tables. But in doing so never go above what your bank roll can afford. I feel a good rule would be to make sure your bankroll is about 10 times higher than the max buy-in at the table you want to move up to. That way even if you take a bad beat your bankroll isnt that cripled and you can always buy back in without too much hesitation!
