Lisa Williams, the dead-on accurate medium who blows me and everyone else away, says there is a difference between spirit guides and angels. Spirit guides are people like ourselves, only hopefully a bit more experienced, since they are our guides. You and I might be spirit guides ourselves, later, when we're done here.

Angels are a different animal completely. Angels have never lived a life on earth. They seem higher than us in a way, if that concept applies. And they only get involved with us if we ask them to. Otherwise they have no particular responsibility to anyone. Your spirit guide is connected to you for life.

Lisa walked into a house because a couple living there asked her to see if it was haunted. Lisa identified three invisible beings in the house (invisible to US that is, not to her). One was the couple's deceased son, who had been playing pranks, shutting off the vacuum cleaner, that sort of thing. The second was a little old lady who announced that it was HER house they were in. Despite her possessiveness about the house, she wasn't a threat to anyone, and her son was in the habit of monkeying around with the little old lady and having fun with her.

The third invisible one in that house was an angel. Lisa described the angel as having wings, and being huge. She was a bit awestruck at how huge the angel was. The angel was just standing there, in the house, quietly, not communicating. For some reason it reminded me of Puff The Magic Dragon.

The deceased son always, throughout his life, talked about angels. There was even a tile in the kitchen that said "I will always believe in angels."

I have a problem believing in "The Archangel Michael" or whatever, because I don't think that any of our religions have ever gotten anything quite right, but maybe if you call for an angel and you call it The Archangel Michael, an angel answers to that. Because Lisa said that no one religion is better than the rest, and yet she referred to The Archangel Michael, or some name like that.

In the end, Lisa didn't take any action to clear the home of its "ghosts". She didn't try to send anyone on into the light, or to send fumes of sage throughout the house and in every corner, or any of her usual things to help un-haunt a home. She just said that the couple is very comfortable with its ghosts, and the ghosts are very comfortable with them, so the next time they sense the present of a ghost they should just smile, wave, and say HI.

This would be consistent with the findings of the author Michael Newton. He said that when a "ghost" is in a house, it doesn't necessarily mean that the ghost is stuck there, lost on the earth plane, something out of Poltergeist, or any of that. It often just means that they are visiting, that's all, that they have the ability to go up and back at will, and they've decided to be here for a bit.

Frankly, if anyone else told me about a huge angel in the house, I'd think they were cracked. But with Lisa saying it, I don't have the arrogance to object or doubt. Lisa has proven herself a hundred times over, so if she says my soul is made of Turkish taffy, then my soul is made of Turkish taffy.
