    Color me skeptical, but hopeful. How independent will this guy actually be?

    I do think that, in this case, the dig against "Christian Fundamentalists" is uncalled for.

    I think the dig comes out of frustration from those that say they value life while defending torture and those who defend torture. You've mentioned personal attacks a few times recently which has caused me to think a bit about it. Wondering where the line should be drawn versus when calling people out is valuable or necessary.
