iCarly Star Stands Out Since School Of Rock – In My Face!
Weirdness prevails.
Why are we unaware of so many people around us, yet repeatedly aware of certain individuals?
Like when you go to a huge shopping mall – a HUGE one – and you cover seeming miles of territory yet you keep bumping into the same person? Or you’re in an unusual city when suddenly you see someone from your home town?
I’ve been having that experience with a young actress. I became aware of her watching the film School Of Rock starring Jack Black, a movie that I love BTW. I can watch it over and over, I think it’s Black’s perfect role and it’s fun to see the kids develop into rock icons. Anyway, she’s Miranda Cosgrove, then about 8 years old I believe, playing Summer Hathaway, the precocious “manager” of the group.
For reasons I haven’t closely analyzed, she stood out to me as an unusual talent. There was some kind of “spark” that gave her something extra. She was easy to remember.
So about a year later, I think, I was getting into my car at the office in (then) Sherman Oaks when Miranda, a little older, taller and with long hair, stepped out of the vehicle parked next to me. She was with another girl and an adult and seemed to have some business in the building where my office was. About this time she was a regular on Nicolodeon’s Drake And Josh TV series playing the pesky and brilliant little sister.
Cut to a couple of years later. My office is now on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, I’m minding my own business out front, I look up, and there’s Miranda Cosgrove passing by. Looking considerably more mature.
Cut to the Wednesday after Christmas. I’m at the small local library, getting ready to leave, when I walk by – Miranda Cosgrove.
She was apparently with a tutor and a relative, and she was recapping something about a history lesson. I thought, “Wow. Other 14 year-olds are on break now but Miranda has to study. I guess that’s the price of childhood stardom.” She’s currently starring in Nicolodeon’s “iCarly” TV series.
Why the heck do I keep crossing paths with Miranda Cosgrove? It’s all been entirely coincidental, but I’m starting to feel like an inadvertent stalker, because now I’m looking out for her!
Am I going to end up adopting this kid???

Zodia’s Reincarnation Family Tree In mOOn platOOn, Zodia is mentally able to open doorways into past lives, proving linkage between descendants and rebirth of specific personalities and emotional memories. For example, she might have been her own great-grandfather. And he might have been his own grandmother. Or great-great-great grandmother. With reincarnation linked to lineage, we tell a tale of American history from 1620 to 2164.
A daily comic strip featuring mOOn platOOners. Today is a one panel, featuring General Boushey. He's at a bookstore staging a protest. There are two tables set up with book displays. The first one has the guys from Queer Eye standing by it and a sign stands above it saying GAY PRIDE. The second table has General Boushey standing by it at attention with a stack of Bibles on that table and the sign above it says GAY SHAME.

Besides the original score, the movie soundtrack includes many well-known musical hits from the 50s through the 80s and sound-snippets of memorable lines and sound-effects from the screenplay and movie.
The Moon Platoon Reality TV Show: where 18 contestants start out inhabiting a duplicate of Portland Moon base under isolated conditions. Each week some are eliminated by contests and challenges simulating the actual Moon base experience. Can they discover who the Soviet mole is? Will someone be accidentally “flushed?” (Lunar vacuum toilet)

mOOn platOOn Aero-Guided Disks
These lunar likened disks are launched like conventional Frisbees, but at a height of 3 meters above the ground an electronic gyroscope is activated inside the disk that receives commands from its thrower. The spin of the disk can be boosted and the tilt of the disk into the wind adjusted by remote control. In a windy environment, the disks can be kept aloft performing maneuvers for hours. Disk wars become a popular sport.

The draw of the card moves up to 7 players beyond the Iron Curtain and into the age of space war, discovering the truth behind disparate events of the 1980s, uncovering the connections between Chernobyl and the death of John Lennon, and the link between the explosion of the space shuttle Challenger and Star Wars, Reagan style. mOOn platOOn Lunar War
A video game that is interactive online, involving the Americans of mOOn platOOn exploring the Moon in depth (including a remarkable underground tunnel and cavern system) and thwarting the space weapons of the encroaching Chinese, Japanese and Indian astro soldiers.
mOOn platOOn An ongoing fictional TV series for a network like HBO, the Sci Fi Channel or Showtime, taking place during the period 1982 - 1988 on the Moon. Located in Moonbase Portland, the series revolves around many of the other 37 inhabitants that we did not have a chance to meet in the motion picture. With a limited but diverse social scene and the ongoing weirdness of living in space upon the Moon, the series reels with mysterious occurrences, 80s nostalgia and strange phenomena. A sci-fi psychological comedra.

Other Phenomena: Here’s a strange one…my post titled mOOn platOOn advised to remove hands from pockets: CLINTON IN DA HOUSE has suddenly gone from my 2nd least-viewed post to the 2nd most viewed post I have ever posted – within a couple of weeks. For two months it gathered a few new readers a week then all at once – WOOSH! A madhouse climb in viewership!
I have my own theory about this – but I wonder, what’s yours? Mind you, of roughly 25 posts before the rise began, this one was the 2nd slowest of all in readership, only one post was slower. Why do you think?

Another In The Series Of 200-Word Adventures Of The Action Agent
“Animal Instincts”
Animosity, in 15 foster homes growing up, raped in 6, abused in 4 more. The rest couldn’t handle her hostility. Some said she’d gone mental.
Yet she was beautiful. Intrigued by Animosity, Mike Feral followed her sexy saunter down the street one day when he suddenly got a call from Urana. Should he answer? Or play hard to get?
Animosity was hungry and short on cash. She’d developed a power that worked effectively. Sending a firebolt of hatred into local skulls causing extreme headaches, Animosity demanded cash from everyone to stop the pain. They paid to end agony. It stopped.
Animosity’s power penetrated even mOOn platOOn’s biO-shield, and he writhed in torture. Defeated, mOOn was forced to retreat. The pain was far too intense.
Later, Animosity spotted a target – a gathering of payroll drops at the bank. When she arrived, armored cars were empty. mOOn had set a trap.
Even locked inside the armored car, the angry Animosity projected splitting headaches a mile in all directions. Bravely, mOOn drove the car away, nearly succumbing.
mOOn drove Animosity’s prison to a cliff on Angel Mountain. Leaving it there, he dove off into the Great River. All were warned: stay clear.
