I will not write just to get noticed

I posted a picture of my  snow covered car on Christmas day. The socket for the cord which leads from the camera to the computer suddenly became defect and I could not upload that picture. I went to such troubles getting that picture. Finally my friend Sergei put my memory card in his camera and uploaded it for me. I could share that picture. Three people commented and I am happy with that.

I did not get loads of people reading about the Christmas in my country. Anyway I would just get scared if I had very many people commenting.

 

I am  happy with my readers and I will not use any gimmicks to get people on my blog. I am just me and this is the way I am going to stay.

I have not written about politics. People can read that elsewhere. I will not write something just to get noticed. No siree. That is just not me. It has to mean something to me. Even thought the rest of you will find it trivial.

 

I have good friends here on SoulCast and I am grateful for that. In the 10 months I have been here there have been so many positive things happening to me.

 

I have the friendship of Polarheart. She was the first to offer me friendship and she sent me Little Box. She was the first in row to get it. I was the second and then came Daily.

 

I have the friendship of Quiet. Trinov. I have got little but very dear presents from some SoulCasters. Not so little as they have been even hand made my friends. Can anyone give more than their own work? I have really benefit a lot in positive things here.

 People have touched me in so many ways here. They are so many and I hope you forgive me for not mentioning more of them.

Oh and by the way I know that SoulCast is not a contest. This is a good place.

    This is why I enjoy your posts and your lovely pictures--you are just so "real" and down to earth, we call it.  I am sorry to say that I bet I come off as doing those things you mentioned.  I am just a little weird one who writes whatever comes to mind and I post videos and such--but I am just having fun.  I would trade places with you if I could--your posts are always so special, and as I said, "real."

    You are the person who inspired me to buy a camera, Skald, and even though I'm a terrible photographer, I really love it.  I would never post my pictures, unless someone here is in need of a nap, because they would surely put you to sleep..lol.
    I saw your car picture.  My husband was looking over my shoulder and said "Wow! I'm glad we don't get snow here!"
    As long as we're being so truthful,  I'll admit I kind of like the "gimmicks".  I love to read Wombat's  "whatever comes to mind"  posts, and ed's polls, and your posts about Icelandic culture, and Dee's religious stories, and all the music videos.
    I get very few comments on my posts, but that's because my life is very dull.  So I comment a lot, apparently too much for one S'caster who PM'ed me to advise me "in a nice way" to back off, and I did, or tried to.  But then I remembered that someone told Destiny Diva they didn't like her, and that this is free blogging, so I'm commenting again.   I'll stop now before I'm forced to agree with him.

    Twylarants.  You are not dull and I don't believe that your life is dull. You are right it's no fun getting all that snow when you have to go some where but I kind of like it now as we have not had heavy winters for years.
    I love all the kind of posts you talk about. Wombat is very natural and I don't think she is using gimmicks . she is just being herself. Just like I like to be to, my self. Is it not wonderful that we can be our selfs here. I could not think of SoulCast without Ed's polls. That is Ed and is natural for him. Dee is also so sincere in her religion. I think I like to see her point of view.
    Yes you comment as much as you like. The comments link us together and that is how we get to know each other. Of course by reading each others posts too. I don't understand why you were told not to comment. That SoulCaster must be a sulker.
    How can anyone PM Destiny saying that. That is beyond my understanding. And one thing I would so much like to see your photos.

    See your point. That is done in Word and pasted. first when I was on here I sometimes lost my posts so I do them often in Word. I don't see so well anymore without glasses so I use print size 18. Thanks for the comment.

But funny things  sometimes happen here on SoulCast you are subscribed and then  somehow without you doing it you get unsubscribed. This happened to me ans Mobil. We both had to subscribe again.

    i always read your blogs and view the pics even if i comment only infrequently. and as i said in an earlier comment, i'd like to write at least a few of my blogs the way you write yours... no frills, so transparent, that readers can look straight to what your heart feels, what your eye sees, what your mind recalls.
