Major League Baseball action will soon reach its peak as eight teams battle it out in the playoffs.

Guam's Fox 6 will carry the action. The playoffs begin on October 3, 2007 in the U.S. mainland. It is the Yankees against the Indians and the Red Sox versus the Angels. The Cubs will go up against the Diamondbacks and it is the Phillies versus the Rockies.

Sorensen Media Group CEO Rex Sorensen said, “This is the country's favorite past time ... and I am sure fans on Guam will look forward to the playoffs but whether their team will make it past the playoffs will have to be seen.”

Lotus Media Services and Sorensen Media Group Managing Director Evan M. Cohen said, “National sporting events shown on Guam are a big thing. Sponsors and advertisers trying to target men will definitely be able to see a return on their investment based on the amount of male viewers that watch sports.”
