Most of you start celebrating Christmas on Christmas Day morning.
We start at 6 PM tonight. The waiting is hard for children and I must say it affects us all.
We have been preparing. Everything shall be perfect when Christmas arrives at 6.
I have visited my two granddaughters who will not be here this evening.
The living room is ready. The table is ready. Pálmi helps a lot preparing. Pálmi will not light the tree until 6 o'clock.
I cooked the smoked meat
yesterday as I always do and now I will put it in the oven for 40 minutes. It has a coat of brown sugar and mustard. I
will sugar coat potatoes, make good sauce, soup too and things will be festive
when we dine. Soon I will fetch my mum. The radio has been on all day. We listen to stories of all kinds of Christmas customs here and in other counties and we hear carols and other Christmas songs.
There are many presents under the tree because two of my grand children will come after dinner and open their presents. We are many.
Two days ago we visited the cemetery. We usually do it on the 24th but the weather was not supposed to be good. We visited my fathers grave and decorated it. We visited my daughters in law grave, my grandparents, my brother in law and my uncle and aunt. We must also remember our loved ones that are gone. Not that I believe that they lie there in the grave.
More later. Merry Christmas once again.
