To all my Democrat friends, a happy holidays and I say this recognizing that the word "holiday" comes from "holy day" and stressing this is in no way saying that you prescribe to any specific religion and or faith or alludes to the Christian Christmas holiday implying it is better than any winter solstice celebration or non-religious observance thereof. The phrase "happy holidays" is only stating that during the time between November 15Th to January 2ND certain groups of people religious, agnostic, and non-religious or atheist celebrate different factions of old customs and these customs are all recognized by the plurality of the word "holidays" and doesn't discriminate or try to indoctrinate into unwanted advances of Judeo-Christian beliefs or customs.
