  I am so sorry.  He was very handsome and obviously cared a great deal for you and you for him.  I lost a very special 8-year-old cat about 5 years ago now, and some days I still feel a little twinge in my heart for him.  Sometimes at night I get the feeling he hasn't forgotten me.  I don't know if you believe in kitty heaven, but I do, and I bet Morris will be there waiting for you. :)

  I am sorry to hear about your beloved pet, also.  I know how you feel.  I could never get really attatched to another pet after I lost my "Zeus."  He was a dobi that I still miss after nearly 20 years!  He took care of me when I lived alone in the boonies--the best gaurd dog in the world, even though he was a big chicken at heart.   When a pet becomes like a member of the household, or a part of your every day life, it is hard to see them go.

  Morris was very regal looking, CW.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  Our cat "Boon", a Maine Coon, died at 18 years old.  My kids grew up with her...she was the only other girl in the house besides me.
  
  Her nickname was " Bathroom Rug", because she would plop down and stretch out, looking for all the world like a black and white shag rug.

  It is a sad day for sure,when a pet dies.We used to have a cat that looked just like Morris.Ours was a girl and her name was Mitzie. She was only 4 when she was run over and killed. Oh boy! .....the kids little faces when they found out!
  
  The cat we have now is an 11 year old girl,she is all black and her name is Ruby. Here in the study there is a cupboard under the window,and on top of the cupboard there is a bed for the cat! The bed is about 4 feet from the floor and is next to the window. Ruby spends hours lying there looking out the window. As a cat lover I know your loss.  Goodbye Morris.......

  How are you doing today?  I am thinking about you with Christmas so close.  I hope there will be some highlights in it for you.  Mine is already over.  My girls have gone to their inlaws, and JR went to KC to his daughters.  I'm here on the PC, a lot of SoulCast must be already involved in family things.
