My power came on yesterday evening. So, this morning I'll be getting around and heading for home. It's been nice that my parents let me stay for six days. I hope the weather is never bad enough to have to return the favor, but I will if it's needed.
This afternoon is the dreaded doctor's appointment. I got up early, had breakfast, and took my medicine. (Thanks, Natalie!) I started out the morning with a blood sugar reading well within the range I'm supposed to be. That's good. I was worried about that.
I've been tracking my blood pressure too with my dad's home monitor. I've been normal there too. That is a worry relieved because they keep telling me at the doctor's office that it is too high. Now I have proof that I do ok when I'm not nervous in their office.
I'll check in a little later. I've got to get this day going. I just wanted to let you all know that my power is back on. I should be going home to a warm house.
