What Christmas movies do you have to watch every year even if you have seen them a thousand times before?

Every year like clock work I end up watching:

How the Grinch stole christmas (The cartoon version)
A Christmas story
Oh and "A Charlie brown Christmas"   I think thats the name of it.  Not sure.

I don't go out of my way to watch them, but I like the cartoon version of the Grinch Stole Christmas and A Christmas Story.

Uniquely- My friends have a christmas party every year that they have a drinking game that is set to that movie.  Every time you hear the word "who" you have to take a drink and every time you see the dog do something, everyone yells "to the dog!!" and you take another drink.

you all must be plastered by the end of the movie! Fun game :)

Yeah it gets bad.  Everyone usually ends up hiding from the hosts of the party.  They end up making sure everyone is keeping up with the movie.

Moms I love Christmas Vacation.  The whole snow sledding scene is great.

Grace I must be a bit late to the party on that one because to this day I have never seen the movie "Its a wonderful life".

Barefoot - Oh my!  You're missing a good one.  Rent it as soon as you can!

I remember when my youngest daughter was about 15 years old.  She had an aversion to watching black and white movies.  Around Christmas time she had been grounded for doing something unseemly to her sister, which stemmed from feeling sorry for herself.  She was also driving me up the wall because she was very bored, with no telephone, internet, going out to visit friends, etc.  My husband and I offered her a deal - if she would actually sit down and *watch* "It's A Wonderful Life" we would give her a reprieve on the continuation of her grounding.  (Of course, we had alterior motives in doing this.  We wanted her to learn the lessons the movie teaches, AND we wanted her to leave us alone.  LOL.)   She did indeed choose to watch the movie, and she was amazed at how good it was.  To this day (eight years later) it's her favorite Christmas movie too!

Me too, the original cartoon version of The Grinch is a must see, Scrooge 1951 w/ Alastair Sim, Scrooged (Bill Murray), the Married With Children Christmas episode with Sam Kinison as the angel (It's a Bundyful Life) !

Al: Well gee, this was fun. What next? We go back in time to the night I should have been conceived and watch my father invent the condom?

Angel: No more time travel for me, it gives me the runs.

Just a few I really like right off the top of my head.

Just like Grace said, "It's A Wonderful Life" is a must-see. Every year it means more to me. Plus, I love Jimmy Stewart! I wish I could think of more Christmas movies.
