I thought is was normal for most people to take a dream or some abstract thought and turn it, or at the very least try to turn it into a novel...ok i admit i'm basing normality on myself. It was recently that i was talking to a friend who said they admired me for attempting something few would. This was after i had sent him one of my incomplete novels, yes you read correctly...one...i think i have six or seven in the process of being written. Anyhow, i was just curious to see if any one else has attempted to write a novel or has indeed written a novel. Thanks muchness to all those who reply.

Veleda, I did write one years ago and gave it to 2 friends to read. They suggested to keep going with it (it was incomplete when I let them read it). One of them suggested turning it into a trashy romance novel. Well, long story short, I tore it into shreds because I lost where I was going with it.

i tried to write a book once. but it didnt get past the first page. then i wanted to write a movie script. i had a good idea but i was too lazy and uncreative to write all of it down. i did know someone once that actually wrote one. i was in the 10th grade and she was a junior. dont know if she finished but i would assume it takes work, and complete dedication. i dont think im ever going to wrtie a novel, a poetry book, maybe.

i plan to write a book one day, perhaps an autobiography. Many people have told me that i would make a great author, that they enjoy my style of writing - apparently it's honest??!!

i think its normal for everyone to want to write a book. we all feel as if we have something important to say, adn we want someone to listen to us.

I wrote a bunch of chapters of a novel and then lost interest. If there was more of a possibility of it being published, and not at my own expense, I'd be more motivated. Someone I know wrote a novel and published it at his own expense, and the grammar was very bad, and I told him so, and he paid me five hundred dollars to edit it, and I did. But then he did something very weird. He backstabbed me and went back on our deal, because our deal was that he give me some kind of credit in the book for editing it, and also giving me a copy of the finished project with my name in it somewhere, and he didn't do either of those things, but instead told me an atrocious lie that he had given me an earlier version of his book by accident and that he had already made the corrections I suggested without needing my help. I was surprised that he turned into such a liar. I lost all respect for him. But at least I got the five hundred dollars. How the hell do you give a person one chapter after another, until you have given him your whole book, pay him five hundred dollars, and then discover later that you had given him an older draft of your book. Absurd lie. He wrote to me often how much he appreciated my help, and how he and his wife loved what I did with his book, and how he was going to rave about me in his foreward or intro. What the hell happened to him, to turn into a foolish and absurd liar, I don't know.

I really love this saying: I'm just a simple girl, with a big heart, southern accent, and a detailed past. [That sounds so much like me!)

I decided I'll list a random things about me....
I'm awsome.....
I'll at least get a pre-weekend post out....
Here is my attempt to sort things out, get some things off my chest, and all of that other fun stuff....
Famous words. Soul cast. Thoughts....
