I' beginning to suspect that this sphere is full of mature, well-spoken, free thinkers...people full of thought and answers....people out to exchange in a meaningful way.

If you have ever seen the wonderful and delicious show The Muppets, then you know who Gonzo was. He was the odd little dude with the hook nose. Gonzo was a wonderful cannon ball, as I recall. No one ever figured out who or rather WHAT he was. Hell, he didn't even know. Gonzo was somewhat of a loner because of his peculiarity, but he had friends....the rats. That, my friends (((crickets))), is me. I'm Gonzo.
If there are any other Gonzo-type people out there, then please shoot yourself out of your cannon and stop by.

I used to be on a forum called Wicked Moon, and most of them were British. After about a year I realized I was just never going to fit in. It was very cliquish and the remarks were often catty and snarky. And I just didn't get their humor and they didn't get mine. So now when I join forums, I don't expect much. I try not to lay my heart on the line. If it weren't for Silverwhisper, I'm not sure I would have stuck around here. I have lots of blogs on blogger, but few people seem to read them. I have a blog on journalspace, which people do seem to read, but don't seem to comment on much. I've been on live journal, where I get read and commented on, but it crashes my browser so frequently that the aggravation became unbearable. I also frequent Tribe.net and Flickr. But out of all of them, Soulcast seems to be a blog by writers for writers. And I like that. I hope they don't add a photo feature, because it's much too tempting to just gawk at the photos and never read the text. -

My head is filled with stuff just wanting to explode, and yet my grasp of the English vernacular often leaves me fumbling for words... So meep meep meep meep to you. Gonzo's cool. Gonzo was always my favourite muppet. He was a bit odd, didn't think he was cool, didn't have the popularity of Kermit or the temperment of Piggy, wasn't cool enough like the jazz muppets, and wasn't cute enough like the smaller popular muppets. He was just Gonzo and was himself through and through. Sometimes the fool, sometimes the butt of the joke, sometimes the cannonball, and always a friend to the rats (for me it's reptiles, insects and... well all animals really). Gonzo was the muppet I felt I would most want to have as a friend. -
