Two possible theories: deletion or 'drafting' of the posts. Both would remove them from view. Either that, or JadeLondon must be something of a conversationalist.
Perhaps. But if one must have something of an infamous reputation, I could think of worse things! There must be some story behind the entire situation.
I think I remember something about her identity coming out at work so she got embarrassed or revealed or something....not sure. Where's the omniscient silverwhipper when ya need him?
JadeLondon was one of the first bloggers here at Soulcast. She had some wonderful posts where she delved into problems in her life and her marriage. She also explored some fiction writing. She is a wonderful writer and a wonderful commenter. Some of us still have comments from her in our older blogs.
She came and went at Soulcast for a bit because of strains on her marriage and because of work issues.
She always posted from a Blackberry, which, eventually, someone accessed at work. And they read her blog. Unfortunately, they read some things that she posted about work--about how people made fun of her education (not lack of) and the way she talked, the words that were natural to her (they thought she was snobby). And then they began to harass her at work.
She felt violated. Wouldn't you if someone accessed your account as you?
So she put all her posts into draft mode, I believe.
She created another user name. But she never truly felt like that user name was her.
So, she didn't post on that other user name, but used it to read our posts and leave a comment or two but not many.
And then she disappeared. As I recall, around this time she was also moving to another job. So, life may have gotten busy again for her on top of not feeling like she could post as herself and not feeling like another username was really her.
well thank you very much for the detailed answer to a very simple question my dear Zayda. Yeah, I'd feel mind-raped too. But I think she could come back with a new name - but not a new story. Too much and she'll reveal herself again, so it's like the story of superman ... once that secret identity is revealed, your effectiveness as a superhero is compromised...
