two days ago we had a party at home... as you all know my mother is catering the philippines rowing team (the dragon boat) while they are training for the SEA games (south east asian games) that will be held in thailand. my mother wanted to watch them but we don't have money for the fare and etc... so she decided we have a party for them instead in our home.

it was fun! imagine 50 able bodied athletes(25 men and 25 women) having fun! i though athletes were party pooper(hahahahaha i made that presumption because they don't talk that much when they were training). but they were fun!

we had some karaoke and so many food! they didnt drank some alcohol though because they had training the next day.

the best part was the special number. my mother's friend and his friends danced. too bad the video is not very good i could have posted it here.

anyway the next day(yesterday), me and my friends went to divisoria. you probably heard filipino soulcasters like dazed_and_confused and ellamae14 blog about that place. divisoria is a place were you could find the cheapest stuff ever!!! and if you buy it in bulk it's much more cheaper!!! the place is really crowded especially this christmas season and let's face it it's not very clean because of so many people... but i ove shopping there! you can't keep me away from a bargain!

i bought a few... okay a lot of necklace whom i gave away to my sisters and helpers. a new watch... a new slipper... some toys for peanut.... and a gift for myself...

a mp4!!!

i dont care about cellphones anymore. i'm settling for a very cheap, rusty, my sister's ancient cellphone.... nokia 8210.

i think i'm very unlucky with cellphones. to think i had mine stolen twice this year...

oh well, i more thankful with all the blessings i have in life.

i'm a little frustrated though... i dont have enough money for a shopping spree..

oh well. maybe next year if i have a job i can do that!!!

well i'm gonna read soulcast now! and listen to my new mp4 player!!!! =)

    I think it's your privilege to see the rowing team and mingle with them in person, queen. We only get to see them on tv!!! :D

    Ok lang yan sis, I am sure, next year everything will turn out the way you wanted it to be. An MP4? It's a cool gadget. I bought mine  online a few months back.

    lioness: talaga online mo pa binili? and yeha they are very nice!!! very simple people who livs all over the philippines... too bad they don't get the recognition they deserve. kahit andaming gold na ang napanalunan nila... =)

    Sounds like you are busy and having fun.  That party must have been something!  I am not much in to shopping, but if I have to do it--a place with bargains is where I want to be!  Enjoy your new mp4 player and keep on blogging yourself!

    queen, there really is a lapse with regards to giving due recognition to deserving athletes. Take a look in the case of some Pinoy boxers who gave honor to our country in the past. They should be treated like heroes. Where are they now? *sigh* Nakakapanghinayang.

    yes, I bought mine online. I thought it's cheaper than when buying in the stores. But when it was available here about a month later, mas cheap pala yung dito. I don't know, baka iba din ang features kaya iba price.

    lioness: hay naku at just wait till you hera what i have to say aboutour athletes that climbed mt. everest... nameet ko noong nagparty. nasa rowing team rin pala sya noon. grabe talaga... well, yung nabili ko made in china... mura nga pero i dont know about the quality. sabi ng kuya ko maganda naman raw. gusto ko nga yung ipod talaga pero kulang sa budget ko khit yung 256 mb yung bilhin ko...

    queen, maybe if we listen to the woes of our athletes, we'd cry a bucket of tears. Nakakaawa talaga... actually, China made din yung binili ko. Sayang kasi if I buy costly ones. Practical na tayo now.  What drew me to buy it is the digicam sana, later, I found out, it's resolution is not very nice pala. Ok pa yung camphone. :c Anyway, its other features are useful, so ok na rin.

    lion = oh no no! not at all! i am fascinated by the way you talk. i was thinking that it must have been that way hundreds of years ago. people would use some old english words and some gaelic, or some english and some bavarian, like that, and that's how the modern language evolved. it's just cool to watch it happen is all.

    queenie - how do you choose which words to say in which language? is it based on emphasis or what?

    trav: well that depends really... for me for exampl there are word i could easily express in english and there are worrds i could easily express in tagalog... =)

    @ travlr, you should listen to us talk. LOL we call it taglish (tagalog mixed with english) and some kolehiyalas (college girls) like queen talk a lot that way. And there's carabao english, english that's spoken with deliberate errors like the one written by rupe..
