so this is for you.
at some point, you're going to have questions about soulcast, about how to navigate your way around here. just about all of those questions have been addressed at various points: just take a look at the blog entries that have the 4newcomers tag. tips on how to use flickr or youtube, how to get around SC, all of those things have been addressed there.
edit: cuz crybabylu asked for it...here's how to create a link. but first, take a look at this image:
1. go to the exactly page to which you want to create a link.
2. note the URL (for example, the URL for this blog entry is http://www.soulcast.com/post/show/100522/PSA%3A-some-tricks-and-tips-on-soulcasting). leave your browser open to that page--you will need to copy & paste the URL later.
3. go into compose mode (see picture, below). note: compose mode is only available (i believe) if you are using either internet explorer or firefox.
4. type up whatever word or words you want to appear in blue and underlined and highlight it/them.
5. see the buttons illustrated in the picture? it has a globe with a link of chain. click on that button. if you hover the cursor over it, a tiny little balloon will pop up that reads "add link".
6. a small window will pop up once you click on the button, asking you for the URL you wish to add. please note: it automatically adds the "http://" bit so that you don't need to. a lot of links are posted that have that part repeated, so don't let that be you. :>
