  I don't know if it was the first post I read, but it was the first post I commented on. It was by Bronx I think, and it was a question about what you would do if you were invisible. It seemed like a good place to jump into a conversation when you didn't know anyone yet.
  
  But the reason I stayed was because of the people who commented on my blog. They made me interested in reading more about them, since they gave me such good advice.

  Well, the reason I joined SC was because of the Uncensored Blogging platform. That appealed to me.
  
  The first comment I got was from MyIdeas, but before that it was Zayda's blog was the very first one I discovered and started commenting. Once that can of worms was opened, I was hooked.

  I'm new to SoulCast, new to writing my own blog, and new to reading yours. I'm enjoying the comment threads, particularly the banter between you and SilverWhisper (Ed?), as much if not more than the blog itself.
  
  I worked in newspapers for 10 years using Associated Press Style, which is slightly more abbreviated in its use of spelling and punctuation than my university grammar classes. A daily read of the AP Wire feeds while in that industry did wonders for reinforcing good grammar. Grant it, our paper wasn't perfect, but we had good editors. I've been away from that environment for some six years now, although I still write PR and Marketing pieces, I find myself forgetting many of the basic English rules. I completely understand the atrophy.
  
  Best of luck and hopefully, my blog will enjoy the success of yours. It's been a long time since I've written anything truly creative and from the heart. Too many articles on hand lotion, and why businesses should consider call accounting software have served to place me in a communication stupor. I'm sure I'll be out of practice until I get more than a few posts behind me.
