  Hmmm...favorite style of dancing. It's hard for me to pick a favorite style; I grew up dancing--ballet, jazz, interpretive, modern, folk.

  Zayda that is quite the grouping diverse dancing styles.  I get to teach salsa but I got to train in ballet jazz urban hip hop and interpetive and few other that my parents had me do growing up.

  Lampshade thanks alot lampshade and its alright.  My brother isn't a big dancer either unless I drag him out on the dance floor.  Even then he only goes out there if I drag him.

  I suppose it's easer to say what kind of dancing I *don't* like to watch - and that would be break-dancing.  I respect and appreciate the skill it takes, but it's like watching people do arobics, to me.

  Hello, Barefoot.....i love salsa too....its energic and sexy.......i took some lessons years ago and its one of my secret dream in the drawer to come back to have more......

  I love to dance ...i used to go to clubs very often when i was younger....

  As for structured dances... learned waltz when i was younger...elegant and classy...i learned some inevitable line country steps being here in Texas...lol...and i swirled with several cowboys with not making them ashamed of me...

   My other dance dream is learning tango.....another sexy thing.....:-)

  When I was in my teens I used to enjoy dancing up a storm at the parties but lately I don't dance at all (except once in awhile).  I still enjoy it though but not like before.

  Welcome to Soulcast :-) I don't really know how to dance any sort of proper dances. But I like to slow dance with someone really special. And as long as no one can see me, I can really rock out to fast music, but I seriously doubt there's a name for what I do!

  Devin I wasn't aware of what the Carlton was until I asked my friend and he showed me.  I think I have seen it before but didn't know it was called the Carlton.
  
  Sudden Slow dancing a definite connection between two people.  I always like watching people slow dance.  It tells a story about them or at least I try to guess things about that couple.  My friends and I always try to guess who is more deeply involved with the person they are dancing with or if its a first date. 
  
  Quiet The waltz is quite the elegant dance.  When I was growing up my parents always had me going to these big formal event dances where they would try to set me up with a friend of theirs son or something.  I think I'm scarred from that and my waltz days ended pretty early for me.

  Crybabylu Thank you crybaby.  I like the name crybabylu.  What is it's meaning if that is not to personal?
  
  Travelr I love the tango too.  Almost can't help but smile while you are doing it.
  
  Mr. Box Alcohol is what my friends and I call dance juice.  Won a dance contest at a Coyote Ugly bar dancing to the devilish went down to Georgia on top of the bar.  Got offered a job.  Couldn't fit it in my schedule between school and teaching.
  
  Grace Hey grace welcome aboard the soulcast bus with me.  I'm alright at break dancing.  I'm much better at hip hop. 
  
  Lbfno7 yeah it is pretty simple thing.  I like watching people that look like they aren't going to make it back home and do it right their on the dance floor.

  Rolling Yeah Its a lot of fun.  I get burned out on dancing sometimes too but I usually go out dancing and do dances that aren't the normal ones I do.  Did the chicken dance taking my nephew to a hockey game. 
  
  Evil I think there is a saying "dance like no one is watching" or something of that nature.  Have fun.

  barefoot - i almost took dance lessons once, and i'm kinda sorry i gave up the opportunity to. i think the reason i don't dance is that i'm so bad at it. but if i took lessons, then i'd be good and i'd like it. i think, tho, i'll opt to do some type of martial arts with the little guy, as a thing for us to do together. it's nearly the same thing, i believe.

  travelr Yeah probably true.  Ballroom dancing doesn't exactly scream hallmark bonding moment between father and son.  I could be wrong, but I'm thinking Karate is probably alittle better suited.

  My favorite dance is contemporary. I've been watching "So You Think You Can Dance" and I must say my favorite pieces are you usually done by contemporary dancers. LOVE IT!! (can't dance it myself though, but that's alright, I don't hate!)
