when men wear female dress they are called a crossdresser but a women wears a mans clothes she is not called so. Whats th difference between a man and a women then when it comes to dressing. However nowadays fashion designer has created unisex attires and can be worn by both man and women alike. But just at that extend. If a man wears a bra, skirt, frocks etc. they are categorised a crossdresser.

Well you see here is the problem. Men look ridiculous in women's clothing. I married a guy who purported himself to be "normal" and turns out this retired Marine Lt. Col. was a flaming fetishist - he couldn't get enough of mohair sweaters, corsets, ballet boots, enormous breasts (Chelsea Charms enormous), and he is a transvestite. I had no clue about any of this when I married him and when I discovered his obsessions I was overwhelmed. I put up with him spending every spare dollar we had on his 'girlie' items to the tune of $4,000. I didn't divorce him because he was a TV, I divorced him because he was a liar and a narcissist. I'm sorry but if you want to be a girl and wear girl's clothes, but if you do then deal with the prejudice. This little fascination you have isn't going to become socially acceptable in my lifetime. Most people think crossdressers are gay - they aren't but they are very addicted which is just as unbearable as putting up with anyone with any kind of addiction. -

I have thought about this before in that I wanted to know why girls dressing in mens clothes was more socially acceptable than a man dressing as a woman.
Had this been back in victorian times it would have been level ground and both men and women would be slated for cross-dressing.
So why is it now acceptable for women to dress up and men not to?
Although it must be said that it is far more acceptable than in previous years.
